When taking a photo of anyone’s art work in an exhibition or gallery also photograph the name tag straight afterwards - it makes it easy to credit, where credit is due.

This is an excellent idea. This could be extended to many other things you photograph as well. I like to shoot flowers and I’ve run into the problem of identifying them afterwards. In the cases where I was at a botanical garden, I could have photographed the placard or name tag they had near the plant.
